Registration will take place through a two-step process:
Step 1:
Complete the competition 2023 Affidavit and respond to email usdmootcourttournaments@gmail.com during the applicable registration period with the completed affidavit and a declaration of your intent to register.
Note: Competitor names and coaches may be left TBD if applicable, but an official representative of each applicant school’s administration or Moot Court organization must sign the affidavit. Once identified, team members and coaches are bound by the affidavit if chosen to represent their school in the competition.
Step 2:
Upon the receipt of application and affidavit, an Eventbrite link will be sent to each team who has successfully completed Step 1.
Alternatively, you may pay via check. If you choose to submit payment by check, please make note of such on your application. The registration fee is $700 per team or $1,400 for two teams.
Your fee is non-refundable after your entry fee is made via Eventbrite or by check and mailed to the USD Moot Court Office below:

Once Application is Completed:
Completed applications must be e-mailed to usdmootcourttournaments@gmail.com by the registration deadline. The first 40 teams to complete all registration steps will be entered into this year’s competition. There is a maximum of two competitors and one coach per team (no team writer or researcher allowed).
The time/date of your emailed application will determine whether your school is one of the first 40 schools to register.
However, if you email an application on time, but fail to pay via Eventbrite or send a registration check postmarked by the deadline, your place in the competition will be given to the next applicant on the waitlist who has met both deadline requirements.
All applications submitted prior to the applicable registration period will be discarded.
